It’s Read Across America Day! Seriously, I don’t make these things up. It’s also known as Dr. Seuss Day, just fyi. So to celebrate, I’m sharing 5 short, no spice fantasy books to help get you reading!

If you are new to reading and want to start reading more but the idea of reading a 400 to 500 page book intimidates you, I’ve got you covered. It’s way less intimidating to read 100 to 200 pages rather than 500. I’ve collected 5 short, no spice fantasy books that are less than 300 pages to get you started reading.
PLUS, four of the five books listed are by self-published indie authors. So you can start your reading journey knowing that you are also supporting independent authors! Yay!
