This was a highly enjoyable read that surprised me in the best way. I wasn’t initially invested in Kazi’s story after The Beauty of Darkness, but I’m so glad I gave this book a chance. It builds beautifully on the original world, while carving out a fresh, emotionally gripping tale of its own.
The worldbuilding was rich without being overwhelming, and the character interactions were just so good. I often found myself grinning or laughing out loud while listening. The pacing was just right—enough action to keep me interested, but room for meaningful character development too.
