My author journey
My love for books started when I was a young girl. I devoured books like the American Girl series, The Boxcar Children, and illustrated classics like The Wind in the Willows and Peter Pan.
As I got older, I continued to get lost in stories full of adventure, (Lord of the Rings), magic (Harry Potter), vampires and werewolves (Twilight), dangerous games and trials (The Hunger Games), and dystopian wonder (Divergent). With this solid foundation of fantastical stories living rent free in my head, I was then inspired to write my own fantasy full of all the story elements I love.
In the summer of 2023, I officially became a self-published author of The Chronicles of Tanithor: Age of the Oracle YA fantasy romance series which is full of magic, adventure, romance and political intrigue. In the span of a year, I then went on to publish two more books for a total of three published books in the series and am currently working on the fourth intstallment. An author is a reader
When I am not busy writing, I am READING. I literally squeeze in reading whenever and whereever I can. It’s not always easy to do but reading is important to me because it feeds my creativity and helps me to write even better stories.
My preferred genre is fantasy, and most of the posts on my blog will be in that genre. Occasionally, I do branch out, so you might find a random historical fiction or rom-com related post. The goal of my book blog is to help you find time to read and find books to love. I also enjoy supporting self-published authors so many of the books I reccommend will be by indie authors.
